After coming to Toronto from a small Francophone town in Northern Ontario, Sarah began her pursuit into the health care field at York University. Here she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Kinesiology in addition to receiving her certification in Rehabilitation Sciences.
Sarah completed her Massage Therapy Advanced Certificate at Humber College, where she worked diligently to be an active part of the world of massage therapy in Ontario and now a member of good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO). This educational experience exposed Sarah to patient populations such as women in various stages of pregnancy, infants, athletes, geriatric and oncology patients, and individuals who were in stages of recovery from substance abuse.
In addition to her educational endeavors, she has been immersed in volunteer work with the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute in Toronto, working with various patient populations from musculoskeletal to palliative. Volunteering in these environments was the spark that drove her to want to be a part of patients' care.
